Our story

Family-run since 1990

A downtown DC institution with a classic U-shaped counter, right across from Ford's Theatre.

Since 1990, we have been a family-run business committed to serving affordable, quality food to friendly faces in the Washington, DC community and to visitors from all over the world.

Our goal is simple. We want every guest to leave full, with a big smile on their face, ready to take on the day. Slide onto a stool at the classic U-shaped counter, watch the griddle work, and settle in. It is the kind of honest downtown diner that gets rarer every year.
